Kevin “KJay” Bradley Jr. Wows in Week 5
Last Sunday’s week 5 matchups were mostly blowouts, but one game gave what it is was supposed to give. The afternoon matchup between Baron Davis’ BB4L and Corey Maggette’s Ghost squad was a thriller from beginning to end, with BB4L edging out Ghost by just 1 point, 91-90.
The catalyst for BB4L’s win? Kevin “KJay” Bradley Jr. (@kjayy.5) whose masterful 38-point game put his team over the top when he ripped down a rebound and went coast-to-coast for a last second lay-up to beat the final buzzer and deliver his team the victory.
The Crenshaw High product said that when the pressure was on, he “just believed in myself and tried to make the right play on both ends” of the floor. That self belief certainly paid off, and made believers out of everyone in attendance. The next Drew League star is born.
Bradley Jr. and BB4L hit the floor against a tough All In team in our 5th game of the day.
