JASON CROWE JR NAMED WEEK 4 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The fourth Player of Week of the 2025 Drew League season is Jason Crowe Jr. of Elevate, with 45 points and 6 rebounds in an 88-70 win over Blazers.

It’s not every day a 17-year-old high school student walks into the Drew League gym and hangs a 40-piece on a team full of veteran pros.

But Jason Crowe Jr. isn’t just some regular 17-year-old high school student.

Part of the class of 2026, the Inglewood native, who is currently attending Inglewood High, is the son of another Inglewood star, Jason Crowe Sr., who graduated in 1995. In the thirty years since, the elder Crowe has played for over a dozen pro and semi-pro teams, including New Zealand National Basketball League, where he earned MVP honors in addition to a championship in 2008.

Crowe Jr. has been living up to the legacy. A five-star recruit, he’s just the latest surprising amateur added to Frank Session’s crew, and Nitty showed once again that he knows exactly how to get the best out of his teammates. In this case, it was as simple as feeding the young’n the ball and getting the heck out of the way (although Nitty still contributed 21 points of his own).

There’s a bright future ahead of Crowe, who has the potential to join DeMar DeRozan, James Harden, and Nick Young on the list of teen stars who made waves at the Drew early, and made it part of their journey to greatness.
