Seasoned Vets Championship game: INVADERS 57 - DOGS 51
In front of a packed house, the 2-time Champions took on The Legendary Dogs.
The Champs, looking for their 3rd Drew Seasoned Vets title in 5 years (and their
2nd in a row), pretty much controlled the game through out never falling behind.
The length of Ronnie Winbush, Mike Brown, and Derrel Cunnegin was just too much
for the Dogs to over come.
Even though Willie J Thomas and Ed Fitzpatrick put up a valiant effort, it was
not enough as Al Cavaness made sure each time The Dogs would get close he would
make a big play on Offense as well as defense! The Dogs even tried to suit a
legend (Jeff Calhoun), but he could not make it out on to the floor to
contribute.
The Champs received a beautiful embroidered sweat shirt, long sleeve shirt,
custom gym bag and a case of Gatorade.
We look forward to another great year starting in October, but when you you come
you must have to tangle with you know who!!
