Playoffs Week 1

 

- As we come to the end of our season I want to thank everyone for a great year, and let's enjoy the remaining games and leave on a positive note.
 

Week 12

- Ok fellas all crying and cheap shots must end!!!!!! This is 40 & Over Basketball and we all must go to work Monday in the morning. The last regular season game will take place Saturday followed by the play offs on Sunday, please do not think you can do something dirty or act a fool with the refs when your team is eliminated because many will attest I will hold you and your team accountable until punishment is served, this is not a threat, it is a promise!!

- Coaches are needed for our Youth Basketball League if intrested please see the Commish. Coaches meeting will be held Tuesday 1/18/11 here at the park 6:30 pm.

Week 11

 

- The Drew Youth Basketball league starts Jan 29th , ages 4-14 Boys & Girls Register your child or team now! cost $50.00 per child includes Uniform, Trophy and Banquet. Coaches needed.
 

- We would like to thank everyone who bought a Miami vs Lakers Raffle ticket, the Drew league Foundation raised $485.00.

- Reminder a full schedule of games this Saturday & Sunday.

Week 9

 

- Whatever balance is due must be turned in this weekend, no exceptions!

- Everyone is welcome to join us for our Annual Drew league Foundation Community Christmas Dinner , this Saturday 12/18/10 12 - 3pm- free to all.

- We have a few Raffle tickets available for a chance to win a pair of Court side seats to the Miami vs Lakers Christmas day game- tickets are $5 all proceeds will go to our At Risk Teen program. THANKS
 

Week 8

 

- Don't forget we have only 3 games scheduled Saturday because of the Josh Childress Tournament. The games will tip off at 3pm.

- Drew league Foundation Raffle is still going on, for $5 you can win a pair of Court side seats to The Lakers vs Miami Christmas day game- The Drawing will be Dec 22nd

- Reminder Our Drew league Foundation Christmas Dinner will be Sat. Dec 18th right here at the park starting at 12 noon- free to all .
 

Week 7

- We would like to wish everyone a Blessful Thanksgiving and be safe and we will see you Dec 4th.

 - Please support the Drew league Foundation by purchasing a $5 raffle ticket with the prize being a pair of great seats to the Christmas Day Classic Heat vs Lakers game. Proceeds will help our Children here in the Community, you can by a ticket from the Commish when we return.

- DREW LEAGUE FOUNDATION ANNUAL COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DINNER DEC 18TH 12-3PM EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO DINE WITH US.

- WE ARE ASKING THAT EACH TEAM PLEASE DONATE 1 TURKEY PER TEAM TO HELP US MAKE THIS A WONDERFUL DAY. IF NOT THE TURKEY PLEASE DONATE $15.00 PER TEAM, WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BRING IT TO THE GAMES ON DEC 4TH OR 11TH IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO ASSIST US WE WOULD STILL LIKE YOU TO ATTEND

- DEADLINE IS THIS WEEK, IF YOU PLAN ON SWITCHING TEAMS THIS IS THE TIME,ALL ROSTERS WILL BE FROZEN AS OF MONDAY 11/15/10

- EVERYONE WHO RECEIVED A UNSPORTSMANLIKE TECH THIS PAST WEEKEND MUST PAY A $10 FINE BEFORE TIP OFF!!! REMINDER ALL UNSPORTSMANLIKE TECHS WILL COME WITH A FINE.

 - FINAL LEAGUE FEES ARE DUE 11/13/10

Week 4

 

- Deadline is approaching to finalize your Roster 11/13/10

- Remaining League fees are due 11/20/10 no exceptions!

- TO ALL PLAYERS AND COACHES PLEASE STOP ALL THE WHINING REGARDING THE OFFICIALS, THEY ARE NOT HERE FOR YOU TO BLAME EVERY TIME YOUR TEAM OR YOURSELF IS ON THE LOSING END OR FOR YOUR MISTAKES. AS WE SAID DURING THE COACHES MEETING THAT A FINE OF $10 OR MORE FOR ALL UNSPORTSMANLIKE TECHNICALS , WE HAVE YET TO DO THIS, BUT STARTING THIS WEEK IT WILL BE ENFORCED!!!

- REMINDER THE FIRST GAME THIS WEEK STARTS AT 10AM, PLEASE DON'T BE LATE.

- Halloween has come early for these teams, it's been a scary 3 weeks!!!

- After 3 weeks we only have 3 undefeated teams remaining... that's balance.

- Let's all say a prayer for Darryl Brown who lost his mom suddenly on Friday at the age of 69 , Darryl plays for High Energy.
